And if you're here, it's likely because you're craving relief.

You’re tired of the relentless cycle—whether it’s the maze of dieting, the fear and confusion around what or when to eat, or the exhausting grip of an eating disorder that’s affecting nearly every part of your life.

You’ve been trying so hard to keep going.

  • Navigating daily challenges.
  • Doing your best to be okay.
  • Trying to figure out how to feel better around food and in your body.

But the pressure is taking its toll.

  • Maybe it’s the constant worry about eating “right.”
  • Maybe it’s the anxiety that comes with meals.
  • Maybe it’s the rules that started out helping you cope but now feel like they’re running your life.

You imagine a life where your thoughts aren’t dominated by fear, rules, or guilt.

A life where food feels simpler.

Where meals and moments with others don’t come with so much overwhelm.

You're ready for change, ready for peace and ready to finally heal.
And we’re here to support you every step of the way.

With ongoing nutrition therapy, you can begin to…

  • Build a more caring and respectful relationship with your body — even on the hard days
  • Feel more grounded and confident in yourself, your choices, and your needs
  • Reconnect with your body’s signals and start rebuilding trust in yourself
  • Loosen the grip that food rules, fear, or guilt have on your daily life
  • Understand what’s happening in your body with more clarity and compassion
  • Work with your body rather than feeling like you’re constantly fighting against it

Healing is not about perfection, it’s about finding more ease, more trust and more connection over time.

Why Clients Choose B. Wheeler Nutrition

Our approach to nutrition therapy is different — and intentionally so.

Nutrition therapy at B. Wheeler Nutrition is rooted in safety, compassion, and collaboration, because healing from an eating disorder requires far more than “what to eat” advice.

Here’s what makes our approach effective and supportive:

We focus on safety first

We meet you exactly where you are, never pushing a pace that feels overwhelming or unsafe. Your comfort, autonomy, and emotional capacity shape each step we take together.

We understand the “why,” not just the “what”

Eating disorders aren’t simply about food — they’re about coping, protection, and survival. Our dietitians understand the deeper layers beneath eating patterns, so you feel seen, not judged.

Weight-Inclusive & Neurodivergent-Affirming

We support people in all bodies, including those living with chronic illness, sensory differences, or executive functioning challenges. You deserve care that doesn’t judge your body or your brain — but works alongside both with compassion and flexibility.

We collaborate with your treatment team

If you’re working with a therapist, physician, psychiatrist, or other providers, we stay connected so you’re supported from every angle. You don’t have to navigate your recovery alone.

We believe in honest, compassionate conversations

You can bring the messy, complicated, confusing parts of your recovery into session. Nothing is “too much,” and nothing has to be hidden.

Our approach works because it centers you — your needs, your safety, and your version of healing.

"Words Cannot Describe the Impact of This Care on My Quality of Life”

I am immensely grateful for B. Wheeler Nutrition; words can not describe the impact of their care on my quality of life beyond just nutrition. They have taken many hours outside of our sessions to advocate on my behalf and ensure I receive quality support. I personally struggle with ARFID eating disorder and feel like I am the "difficult one" when it comes to food.

My dietitian at B. Wheeler Nutrition has supported me in breaking down my feelings and messages from people in my life to heal my own body without feeling shame from the food I eat. My dietitian is extremely understanding, empathic, knowledgeable, non-judgemental, and supportive. From my experience of working with B. Wheeler Nutrition for about 2 years, they are the best of the best.

I highly recommend B. Wheeler Nutrition, often to my friends, family, and my own clients.”

What Working Together Looks Like

Starting nutrition therapy can feel intimidating when you don’t know what it will be like.
That’s why we make sure the process of getting started feels grounded and predictable.

Step 1: Complete a short application

You’ll start by filling out a brief application so we can learn more about what you’re experiencing and what kind of support you’re looking for. This helps us make sure we’re the right fit for your needs.

Inside the application, you’ll also have the option to choose the dietitian you feel drawn to — or select “I’m not sure yet” if you’d like our guidance.

Step 2: Receive confirmation + schedule your first session

If our practice is a good fit for the support you’re seeking, you’ll receive an email confirming that we can work with you.
From there, you’ll be invited to schedule your first session directly with your chosen (or matched) dietitian.

No phone calls, no back-and-forth — just a clear next step.

Step 3: Begin nutrition therapy with your dietitian

Your early sessions focus on getting to know you: your history with food and your body, what feels hard right now, and what kind of support feels safe and doable.

Together, you and your dietitian will:

  • Talk through what’s been making food feel hard or confusing
  • Explore the rules, fears, or expectations that have been running the show
  • Get curious about what your body is asking for (even if it doesn’t feel clear yet)
  • Figure out what feels overwhelming and what feels doable right now
  • Find ways to make eating feel less stressful and more predictable
  • Slowly build trust — in your body, in food, and in yourself
  • Create next steps that feel safe, supportive, and realistic for your life

There are no food judgments, no “good” or “bad” choices, and no expectations to make big changes right away.

This work is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized.

Step 4. Seeing What Support Makes Sense Next

Most clients work with us for about 3–6 months, meeting weekly or biweekly depending on what feels supportive. Around the 3-month and 6-month points, you and your dietitian will check in together to talk about how things are feeling, what’s shifting, and what you might need next.

Many clients find they’re feeling more grounded, confident, and steady by this time. Others choose to continue for a bit longer because ongoing support feels helpful — and that’s completely okay, too.

Client stories

"They Taught Me To Trust Myself and Listen to My Body"

B. Wheeler Nutrition has a unique approach that I hadn't experienced with other dietitians. They combine their extensive knowledge of nutrition, body chemistry and neurodiversity with a trauma-informed, mothering, one-of-a-kind holistic approach. This energy comes through virtually and in-person.
They made a difference in my life with our first session in 2018 and continue to make a difference today. I had over 50 years of shame, diet culture and internal messaging to unravel. My dietitian at B. Wheeler Nutrition met me where I was at with kindness, compassion and humor. We work together to set goals, brainstorm out of the box ideas/solutions and I always walk away with practical skills that can be used immediately.
Their support helped me recover from binge eating disorder by teaching me to embrace intuitive eating. More than anything, they have taught me to trust myself and listen to my body.

"All the Stars in the Universe!"

We came to B. Wheeler Nutrition for my daughter after she had been placed in a residential and outpatient program to treat her newly diagnosed Avoidant Restrictive Intake Disorder (ARFID). We came with a lot of trauma from that facility. Our dietitian soothed both our souls and began to be my point person in treating my daughter. On two occasions, our dietitian recognized that my daughter needed additional care. She coordinated with CHOA and me while my child was hospitalized for 10 days and left with a feeding tube. Our dietitian assisted me for a year while my daughter was on the tube and another year once she moved to solids. I can’t praise her enough for her knowledge and heart. She is understanding and patient and will always be the best part of a very difficult time.
